[V26] Holograph / Dissi / Mac - Cannot find mysql database

Ok so i have downloaded the source from here - http://forum.ragezone.com/f353/dissi...dition-855784/

As you can see in the above thread, the image displays a working hotel on a mac/linux.(yes i am using a mac)
My problem however is getting the server to start.

I can assure you i am not a noob and generally know what i am doing.
I keep getting this error - Screen Shot 2013-05-08 at 23.25.00.png
All database details are correct yet it states that it cannot connect to the mysql host.

Has anybody successfully used this source on a mac and has got the server to start?


Before those tell me to get/use a windows machine. I have one but rarely use it

If you read what i said, all mysql details are correct. Mysql is running in localhost and the db connections have localhost as the host.
And yes my mysql is workng on my pc as i have my projects running in localhost which require a db connection

No matter what but it still says it cannot connect to MySQL. There must be something incorrect or maybe MySQL is turned off?

How many times do i need to say? mysql is working fine as i currently have it working for a project i am working on right now.
Its just the server that for some reason cannot connect yet the details are all correct.

I can make it return 2 errors, 1st error is the one above which i get when i use the 'edited setup that works with mac/linux'

Another error i also get is - [14:52:44:104] [Eucalypt.Boot] » system_config table contains invalid values for socket server configuration!
Yet all details are correct in my system_config and match my server config

Its extremely odd

Sorry for the double post but the last message has been over a week and I am still having issues with this.
Any help towards fixing this issue is appreciated.

As stated above there are NO mysql problems as i have a project running in localhost which requires mysql and that is fully functional.
My database settings are all correct aswell
