What to do after making changes to .cs file?

    Hello,

So I'm new to using Visual Studio, and I had to make some changes to one of the .cs files.

What I did was edit the content, and then hit save. But there seems to be no changes at all.

What am I supposed to do after making the changes? (I see some people asking me to debug etc.)

Am I supposed to do something other than saving the file?

    Thanks!

When i press f5, it asks me to choose a process/application to select - which do I choose? (I'm on windows server 2012)

And also, after doing so, what happens next? (I notice no changes - and my Mercury.exe's last change time doesn't change - is it supposed to change too?) How can I know whether it was successfully saved?

After making changes to your source, you need to compile it. I would recommend finding the option to compile rather than using the shortcut, especially as the WS2012 version might be different (not confirming this).

Send a screenshot of the list of process/applications it asks you to select also.

    Just debug the project.
