What's the best option - DDOS Proxy or DDOS Protection?

To be honest, I don't have a lot of experience in the retro industry. My Proxy seems to fail, and I'm actually not sure why. It looks like my hotel is getting overloaded, even though it's only 4 people testing the web functions. I'm currently using an 20gb Proxy from x4b. I haven't got a clue if that's enough or not, all I know is that it fails, big. The options are the following:
Should I buy a DDOS Protection from the same site, and leave my DDOS Proxy dead, or should I upgrade the Proxy from 20gb to 750gb? If you've got any further advice, please leave a comment.

    Thanks,
    Mathu
