    happy How to fix White Avatar

    I, like many others, struggled with the "White avatar" issue. I read tons of threads, none really solving the problem. I knew the problem was either my SWFs or my external_variables. Upon observing my external_ variables very closely (for a long ass time too) I noticed something odd.

    Before you go to my fix, please check that you've checked the following in your config.php file:

    All links are starting with http://YOURIP/r63/ the file name (The IP is another thing that's often wrong or just mistyped)

    Check these urls endings (most just end in .txt)

    Try various external_variable files from different SWF packs

    If all else fails:

    This how I fixed my problem, I am not promising anything.

    Open your r63 folder, find external_variables

    Find the line that reads:

    external.figurepartlist.txt=http://YOURIP/r63/figuredata.xml

    For me, this was line 24 using Notepad ++

    Notice how it clearly says "figurepartlist.txt"

    So why are everyones external_variables always saying ".xml"

    I changed the .xml file extension to .txt and I can now change, and save my clothes.

    I hope this solves some issues.

    Thanks.
