    How to get access from a external MySQL host

    In this tutorial i'm gonna show how to get access from an external MySQL host! This is usefull for example an emulator.

    I'm only show it in DirectAdmin and cPanel.

    Total steps:
    • DirectAdmin: 5 steps
    • cPanel: 4 steps


    DirectAdmin:

    1. Go to your DirectAdmin and log in.

    2. When you are logged in go to "MySQL Management".


    3. Click on a database.

    4. Type by Access Hosts % and click on Add Host. (You can also type your domain or your hosting IP)



    5. Go to the config file and type in by MySQL Host: % (if you have used by step 4 your domain or your hosting IP then type that in)

    cPanel:

    1. Go to your cPanel and log in.

    2. When you are logged in go to "Remote MySQL".


    3. Type by Add Access Host % and click on Add Host. (You can also type your domain or your hosting IP)


    4. Go to the config file and type in by MySQL Host: % (if you have used by step 3 your domain or your hosting IP then type that in)

    This doesn't work. And if it did work, why not buy vps? That's easier than this shit.
