Habbo Retro Tutorial
Notice: This Tutorial is now for PHPRetro hotel developers. If you wish to still use HoloCMS you can still follow the tutorial but downloads will vary.
What do i need to download?
please download the downloads in blue first.
1) PHPRetro 4.0.10 Stable;
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
2) WinRAR;
http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar371.exe
3) MySQL ODBC Driver 5.1;
MySQL :: Download Connector/ODBC
4) Xampp Control Panel;
apache friends - xampp
5) Microsoft Visual C# Express Edition;
Microsoft Visual Studio Express - Build cutting edge Windows applications
We are now going to start to make you're hotel.
Section A; Setting up you're Emulator.
1) Download an Emulator.
( Please find you're own, this is a tutorial about PHPRETRO not emulators)
Section B; Setting Up Xampp Control Panel.
1) Download MySQL ODBC Driver,
2) Download Xampp Control Panel,
3) After installing Xampp Control Panel successfully open it and click start on Both Apache and Mysql.
So far you should be looking at something like this;
4) Now go to
http://localhost if that does not work http://127.0.0.1 and select your language.
5)You must have xampp control panel running at all times.
6) Now go to http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php
if that does not work
http://127.0.0.1/security/xamppsecurity.php
7) Set-up a password here, this is important so keep you're password safe and secure, also never forget it. Then click Change Password option.
Well Done, You have successfully installed and set-up Xampp Control Panel.
Section C; Uploading PHPRetro.
1) Go to you're start menu bar. Search for this:
C:\xampp\htdocs
2) Delete everything from that folder.
3)Download PHPRetro from the downloads above and open it with WinRAR.
4) Unpack (Extract) PHPRetro into you're htdocs folder.
C:\xampp\htdocs
Well Done, You now have PHPRetro ready to be installed.
Section D; Setting Up The Database.
1) Go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin
if that does not work
http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin
2) Make a database called ''Holodb''
You should be looking at something like this;
3) When you have typed Holodb simply click enter.
4) You have now created a database but now we need to import retro files,
5) Click on you're database ''Holodb'' found on the left side bar and then click Import on the menu bar found to you're right.
You should be looking at something like this;
6) Now click choose file and then go to you're Holograph Emulator folder.
7) Go to Holograph Emulator\Resources\db\holodb.txt.
8) Select Holodb.txt and then click ''go'' at the bottom right of the screen.
9) This may take time depending on you're computer upload speed.
Well Done, You have now successfully created you're hotel's database.
Section E; Installing You're Hotel.
1) Go to you're Holograph Emulator folder located on you're desktop.
2) Go to Holograph Emulator \bin\debug\bin\mysql.ini
3) Open Mysql.ini in a text document;
NotePad or any other notepad software.
4) Fill in all the details
You Should be looking at this;
5) Simply change where it says password to the password you set for you're xampp control panel earlier today.
7) Now Click the save button!
8) Now go to http://localhost
if that doesn't work
http://127.0.0.1
9) An installer should appear for PHPRetro.
10) Go through the installer filling out the correct details and do as told.
There you have it, You now have you're very own PHPRetro Hotel.

- When i sign into my hotel, It says my hotel is offline? How do i change this to online?
This isnt an error; All you need to do is -
1) go to housekeeping and click Settings.
2) And then "site" for management.
3) Then change "Status image" from check every 10minutes, to "Disabled".
