[RELEASE] ROSEon CMS

Hi guys,
i finished this CMS for RoseOnline. It needs MySQL and a EMail Server (for "forgot password" function).

The features of my CMS are:
- News
- Newscomments
- Captcha system
- ACP with very much settings like "allow registration, allow reset lvl, website title, server rates, download text, information, account edit, character edit"
- Usersystem (my characters)
- Forums link
- Rankings
- Player Online
- Register

To install:
Upload this stuff onto your Webserver and edit the _config.php file, put your username/password for mysql into it. then go to yoursite.com/roseon/install/. Now it should install the database for the ROSEon CMS. If the database is successfuly installed, delete the install folder. Then you have to set the CHMOD rights for sites/captcha.php to 777 that this file can create the captcha. You need accesslevel 300 to get into the ACP.

I think its just compatible with Firefox :/

I know, the code isnt very clean xD
I would recode it, but firstly i want to release that shit :E

My new CMS will have these features:
- Template system
- Very very better code, more clear,...
- Better performance
- Better captcha
- New fresh design, not dark more lightly
- Multiple Language
- More functions for user, like Friends system
- Cookie Login (This version works with Sessions)
- hmm... and some things more =)

Please make it so that character names or whatever show on online stats page, this also happens when someone posts a new news post. Account names are shown as the poster which is a huge security risk. x_o

i cant change this, the online information is in the accoutns database and if someone got 4 characters, all 4 will be showed, so i decided that the account will be showed...

and which security risk -.-
are your password abc1234 ?
...
just take a normal password

i couldnt make it securer with the passwords because the rose client just md5 one time the password and so i have to do exactly the same way

one more thing i need help with this on the site it says Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\xampplite\htdocs\_config.php on line 43

use the attached file in the install folder


EDIT 2: Does any one know how to fix the forgot password page?
it says that there was an error sending message

do you have a mail server?
i couldnt test it, because i had no mail server on my computer

you can change chmod rights with a ftp program
if you got xampp, start FileZilla and connect to your PC with a ftp program, there you can change it
