Help Concerning the Cronicles files

Every time i down load the files from hicks guide i get the same error. Unexpected end of archive. Is this normal or is the download currupt? or is it just currupting on me dureing the 5 hour download. If anyone can give me a hand with this id be thankfull.

Trying to learn about sql from scratch over here. Microsoft offers a few diffrent versions which is the best to choose?

I've used the one's image i've found in my lan =) MSSQL 2000 Developer edition i think (with enterprise addons probaby, dunno)
