It was the same on my lan server on win2k pro... It seems thet it doesn't support /3gb key in boot.ini, but with NPCs cut out it runs anyway...
I've installed Win2003 Enterprise recently... everything is fine now... still have some errors, but not serious... no crashes...
Woot ! I do delete perfmon.ini (in l2server and cached folder) and now its work
