First off L2chef is NOT loosing any interest, he does however have a real life with important issues unlike many of us! As for database who on earth told you L2J said NO to database? By 0.5 there will be a database. Perhaps even before.

And on a side not, L2J will own official servers when its finished. I wanna see you guys do heavy costum changes on it like beeing able to control mobs, mount striders, make new events stuff like that...

*edit* Ok just heard it from the dev team, 0.4 == database. Thats they reason no new features are beeing add lately, only bug fixes. They're adjusting stuff for database usage! ;)

ermmm i dont know if u guys are L2J fans or what?

But stop discouraging ppl to make servers with this software, i have seen lots of servers that use stole server software and NOTHING ever ocurred

Patience? mmmm lets use this software for now and when L2J bring some additions and release a REALLY good version, then servers should use it

Hitomi they DID say no DB, im 100% sure i saw it in their news, NOW they prolly decided to make the DB cuz the server stolen software got leaked and they dont wanna disappear

FYI the way the server works right now the server will never be able to excide 50-60 players despite the connection its on simple because the way its programed it cant hanndle it. I am a fan of l2j but I think they should edit there core a bit more so it can actualy support more players I meeni f your trying to emulate a server why leave out the main bit, the player capasaty!

And yes there not working on the datapacks hance the l2dpp ( lineage 2 data pacl project )
there not working it because they feel that there may be copyright issues on the spawns stats etc. They just program the codes for the html to read and the way that the server reads the csv files. I did alot of work for the dp project so I know =P

Ur teaching me that? Lol i know all about l2j dont worry. been there since the first day! and bl1nd why shouldnt we discurage people to do a crime? Yes it is a crime! As for the 50-60 players capacity yes its true but they're already working in clustering the world and also attack system was heavly changed! Do u really thought they were gonna leave it that way?

oh and bl1nd ur gonna have to show me that news couse i've been with l2j since the very first day and i NEVER saw anything about saying NO to database! It was already in they're plans way after this leak. the only thing i saw that had "NO" and "database" togheter was "no logging/stats until database"

I'm not gonna bother saying what's legal or illegal, but anyway...
Even with the release of the prelude TW server that was already enough for a lot of people loose interest in an emu. Moreover, now there's C1 server version on the loose, mean while emu

when the l2j web page comes back online il give you a link about l2j not making the data packs any more.. When I was making the guards html files for l2chef this was before there was any data pack projects arround we where talking about the legal issues of coppying the offical servers text. I originaly was going to set up the data pack project but I became a GM for a server instead.

wowowo what do the datapacks have to do with database? Database term is beeing used as in mssql!
