Is the L2server loading to where you can log in? Start the l2server first and wait a while and you'll see the log come across with a series of events firing. Try and log in at that time.

Just new to this, but I'll try and help till someone more qualified like localhost has the answer.

What OS? How much RAM? Did you edit your boot.ini file like it says in the setup instructions?

I've seen that before.. half way through loading the NPCPos.

Try this.. backup your npcpos file and edit it so that only one teritory is in there, something basic and small.. So you should now have one teritory with a few mobs loading..

Try now. If it works, you have memory problems. Each teritory loads x mobs.. and so on. Before I had full C3 NPCpos my C3 server was running ok. Once I got the new POS with some 200 new locations and even more NPC's, the server kept having memory problems. I put the old POS back in and it worked..

    Solutions..

    - more ram
    - increase pagefile
    - defrag (worked for me once)
    - rebuild os (worked when the above didn't)

Now I can use my full C3 NPCpos without it crashing while loading so many.

    Hmm, maybe.

I've spent a long time on this. Borrowed countless official accounts to scout around getting a general idea of the spawn locations and NPC counts. It's by no means complete. Still need to sort out TOI etc as our Geo Data isn't complete.

Once we have working Geo Data and can safely say all of our NPCs are loading correctly, I'll post it. I'm not going to post something for which I'll be criticised for.

You haven't enlarged allocated application memory.
WindowsOS can only address 1024megabytes of memory per thread. L2NPC gets WAY beyond that. Thats why You have to set /3GB switch in the boot.ini , You cant also add /PAE it wont hurt, may help.
