OK i am just wondering, is there a link where i can download a pack with everything i need to make a lineage2 server? So all i have to do is change some files and thats it.

thats not what we need..... we need a fully made server to with quests and skills fixed so we can get the server up and runing for me and my friends asap
that link has all fixes and everything you need. there is no way to just download this server and have it running in 1 min. you must install sql. inject the data into it. edit the config files. its what we have all had to do. and what your gunna have to do
edit : quests and skills DO work. everything works basiclly.

I agree with sugarspliff, the downloads off hicks post and if you don't include the setup time for installing windows and ms sql, I think you can get it all running in like... oh say.. 30min. - 1 hour (depending on how much ram you got -- since the npc's load forever and ever and ever.. and ever...).
And I mean, editing config files, if you're really pressed for time, you can do a find and replace over and over, it's not REAL configuring, you're just replacing all the existing stuff with your setup. I mean when you say configure something, I keep thinking along the lines of setting up a box with linux and getting all the nifty packages installed and working. But yea, it's pretty straight forward I'd say.

So yea, if you have all the apps installed already, you should be playing in no time, and if you're setting up a lan party, I bet you could get it all up before the guys finish plugging themselves into the switch and realizing they need nic drivers installed (or something random, seems that murphey's law comes into play a lot during lan parties, dunno why... just does. You can have the most stable working setup at home, but that 5 minute drive to your friends house just does something to it, you know?).
I have an idea, why dont you go to NCSoft and ask why the leaked server files doesnt have a proper installer?
