    SQL Install problem.

I started up SQL on a friends pc for testing but now I have a new pc to test on but when I try to install it I get this:

    http://img187.echo.cx/img187/8697/127dm.jpg

As you can see I tryed it in DOS mode and I tryed to execute all other installation file the .exe's .bat's .msi's but nothing work just crashes or does nothing.

Computer is XP Pro and is the same version fully updated like the last pc I was running it on I have tryed the evaluation and full version but its all the same.

    Can any one help?

I realise esentialy this isnt to do with Lineage 2 but it is so I can run a Lineage 2 server again and also since pretty much all of you have had to set it up to may be you can enlighten me.

    Thanks.

FYI I want to make it clear I got it working just find on another pc but not now...

Hmm... try making a backup of his autoexec.nt and copying the one from your windows directory. Something may have corrupted his.

Alright, try this link, download it...
    http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/xp_fix.exe

This installaton program will reinstall the missing or corrupt Windows XP system files command.com, autoexec.nt and config.nt. The absence or corruption of one or more of these files causes a "16 Bit Subsystem" error.

I recommend that you download this file and save it to your desktop or to another location where you can find it. Double click on the file to run it once it's downloaded. If problem reoccurs in the future, simply re-run this program.

    Hope it helps you

Maybe a Restart will help? Just restart the computer... Have you checked that you dont have too many processes running for the computer to handle? Press ctrl + Alt + Del to get up the windows task manager, then click on processes and shut down some processes that might be using up too much RAM.

Not a chance that is the problem and no I have actualy had this problem for a long time because I had figured out how to skip the autostart.exe before by using the msi's so as you can imagine in the meen time I have restarted my comupter plenty of times and there is more than enough ram to run a installer the installer just idles doing nothing. I appreciate the help tho. =)

It has nothing to do with SQL. Its a bug in some windows versions. Your simply missing that file. The most common are AUTOEXEC.NT , config.NT and command.com

Ive attached those 3 files here. They all go to Windows\System32\
