I wanted to make a customized Habbo Retro Hotel (customized because only the things I like are in), but because I'm not good at coding games..

Anyway heres the Layout with some features:

- opening boxes
- moving boxes
- closing boxes
- multiple boxes without page reloading

It's made with HTML, CSS, JQuery and PHP.

If someone would like to help me, then I would work on it, but alone I can't do it :/

Yeah it would be really nice. It's also possible to make a own game (based on Habbo but "better") with own graphics if someone would help with the pixelart.

Nice release, what do you think about a real community project ? Project goal will be re-create Habbo from scratch using html, css, websocket, nodejs

So I tried to make a Development Thread some days ago, still not accepted, I think they don't want ("another" but different) Habbo HTML5 Remake >.> Or is it, because it dosen't look like the default Habbo o_O

i can write the emulator in native c++, but the only condition is that I earn money with this project
( I'm a student of Electronics & Technical IT [ specialised on embedded softwaredevelopment ] ) and I have about 3 1/2 years of programming experience

No no. You're not saying C++ don't run on Linux? C++ runs on Linux as well. And if done correctly I think that C++ might be even better than Java.

I know that Java runs on linux and that the "normal" Emulator's witten in C# or whatever "C" it is, don't. Sorry if I understand something wrong.

So why are most Emulators made in C#?
Most emulators are made in C# because a developer decided that VB6 wasn't good enough, so decided to code an emulator in C#. Most of the emulators today are then based on that same base, therefore people learnt C# instead of adventuring into other languages like Java, C++ etc.

Yes, there's developers who have their preferred language and make an emulator, but if it doesn't become popular or isn't fully featured, then most people wouldn't want to use it as their base.
