A mate of mine was starting a CMS from scratch, he is a beginner at PHP so don't go flaming ladies...

Not much is done, just the mysql connection and starting the design. Oh and don't go taking the Brain Hotel name, that's going to be his new Hotel name.

Since this isn't really a content management system yet, I think you should include in the name "CMS BASE" or something so that people don't all get hard from thinking there's a new CMS then seeing that it's just a basic base and get mad then flame you.

Very insecure "BrainCMS" (just like Phoenix PHP, but a whole lot worse). On the other hand... You've developed something what people can't do on this forum (which is code, lol). Please don't give up, continue. ^ ^

I suggest the creator of this to get more advanced in PHP before making this, else it'll probably not be secured and since it isn't even Object-Oriented people will use other CMS' that are(better).

Last post was a bit harsh.

But let me give some constructive criticism.

1. The Global is a MESS
   
   • You did a good thing by defining all those things
   • You then define them again with a variable which I don't get, If you want to use a var then don't use a defintion first.
   • Also Error_Reporting is important, don't block them all out because then no one will know any specifics.
2. Your only real page has little php at all.
   
   • It really just looks like you straight copied habbo's html.
   • You have little-to-no PHP in this page and it's very overhauled by HTML
   • OOP, where is the OOP?
