Basic Server is an emulator of the old Habbo Hotel. His version corresponds to v18 and is based on Debbo Project.

Its features are many, starting with a minimalist interface that shows only what is essential to manage the hotel. The main screen shows the server chat logs, server, real-time logging and alerting. The latter have the function to notify a server failure or instability may cause a crash.

Your code has been optimized fixeando areas slowed the emulator in certain situations and ended Crasheando the server.

Other important features are the updates. From time to time new releases are taken to manage server failures, improve the code and include new features. Through upgrades can upgrade the server without the database suffers failures.

In this version 1.3.0 have been added improvements in the hotel trade. On the one hand, users of Habbo Club will have in its catalog page HC (must be in the database or otherwise not displayed). For small improvements have been added to Admin Panel editing the welcome message and the enabling or disabling of new users and the console.

With almost a year's difference from the last version, I published the version 1.3.0, which studies I could not finish it until now. It not brings big changes because my programming skills are not very high, but I think the changes are quite squeeze if used wisely. I felt really comfortable developing this small version of the dynamism that can contribute to a hotel, but I know that is far from equal those existing emulators.

I hope you like it and encourage you or at least bring you fond memories of Old Habbo.

I really like how you changed the design of the emulator and it makes me happy when I see people are still developing and using flatfile / oldskool servers like debbo, bloodline and habblux. Hope someone is willing to fix up ss and bb for this emulator as many people still want to play it.

Is this even possible? How do you find the packets! There's not much you can do with a director file in terms of finding functions and codes.

For tips on reverse engineering (needed for Lingo scripts) go to Mike (office.boy) or Lab (lab_hotel) or Adil (Caustik, I don't know if he can but I think he can), I have actually NO experience. You can also contact AmyIsBored but I don't think she would help you. But still it isn't as easy as SWF to find stuff.

If you see .NET as a waste of time, you must see a lot of things as a waste of time. Move onto a better language that is far more suited.

Coder, that means programmer.

Also, you're talking about VB .NET, well, I suggest people go onto Java/C++/C# since they're way better. Take for example Java/C++. They are multi-platform and can be used on all kinds of operating systems. C# is good since it's a great programming language, only it uses the .NET library.

However, VB .NET might be easy, but it's a simple programming language, nothing really great. C# may be harder, but it has more functions. If you really want to make something advanced, take Java/C++. Java is really easy to learn and some things like syntax are equal to C#. C++ is kinda different in syntax but that's all about learning :-) I started learning myself and everytime I code C++, it becomes easier for me :)

It's difficult and requires time (only touching the tip of the iceberg atm).

You could try and implement some sort of trickery using a debug window but I don't know if that's possible in the v18 dcr.

The debug window for as much as I know only works in V5 and V7, never tested in V1 but I did in V9 and in V9 it doesn't work anymore.
