    HorrorCMS V1.0.1 (Build 101670)

    HORRORCMS V1.0.1

HorrorCMS is a major edit of RevCMS with lots of new features, an improved layout and high reliability. In addition, 24/7 support is available. HorrorCMS is free to use for everyone.

    HorrorCMS Features

    - Statistics page
    - Available in Dutch and English
    - PulseASE housekeeping edit
    - Improved security
    - Bug fixes
    - Removed api.php (caused lots of trouble)
    - Updated client page
    - Much more!

    New features

    - Added a license in the root file to prevent people from stealing your CMS. (enter your username in license.txt)
    - Staff can now logon during maintenance
    - Added a cloudflare setup to improve speed and stability for hotels using cloudflare
    - Added advanced connection settings and 3 secondary servers in case the main HorrorCMS server is down
    - Updated the stats page (was pretty messy)
    - Fixed several bugs
    - Entering a name instead of the '1' or '0' in news will now show the actual author (you do need to allow in your db to enter text in the author field)
    - Fixed community page
    - Added enhanced support for HorrorSWF (more information soon)
    - Fixed MUS commands in housekeeping
    - Anyone trying to brute-force the housekeeping will now be logged
    - Several other features and fixes

    Availability

Download and more information available on the dedicated website.

    How to setup

The setup is the same as for RevCMS, however I' ve added a second folder which requires you to fill out some information about your SWF, emulator, etc. to improve security and speed for your hotel. Everything will work without setting this up (setup/setup.php) but enhanced security and other features will not be active.

    Credits

As this CMS is based on RevCMS credits still go to Kryptos and others, like the maker of the Habbo skin.

    More features

More features are to come and starting from Version 2.0 we want to get rid of the RevCMS base.
Ideas are welcome in the general chat at the dedicated website.

    Support

Support will be available 24/7 . Non-phoenix license holders will receive limited support though.

    Download

    The features/updates look good.

    Two Questions:
    Code:
    1. Could you upload some Screenies of the new pages you've added?
    2. Will RevCMS skins work on this Rev Edit?

That would mean you cannot use Phoenix Cracked with this CMS?

You can, it's the database which makes the site to work, the emulator is only the client.

I still don't get how this allows you to change the whole name to HorrorCMS. Hope there are credits to Kryptos and its not just one of those renames where you claim credit. RevCMS Horror Edition sounds more appropriate.

    Re: HorrorCMS V1.0.1 (Build 101670)

I'll make a live demo. Cracked phoenix users may use it as well, but there will be no support available if there are issues with setting it up. The client page sometimes causes some trouble for cracked users, and they'll have to sort that out themselves. The reason why I renamed it is in there, it's just to clarify the difference. The basic thing behind it is very different and will become even more different from RevCMS soon. Credits still go to Kryptos, Hejula and all others. RevCMS skins won't work on this yet, but if you send it to me I can make it work and perhaps include it in the download.

I know it sounds stupid, but can somebody make some screens for me? :P I'm using the béta version for my own hotel and my server is so filled up it won't let me run anything more. I'll keep trying, but if there's anyone out there who is faster than I am PLEASE post some screenshots :P

Please show us where you have "improved" the security, as far as I was aware RevCMS had no exploits?

RevCMS didn't have any exploits, that's true. What I did is getting more security in stuff like the housekeeping, and a second security check after login to the hotel is being developed at the moment.

A public patch was already released for that.

New user posting a release and desperate for people to download? No thanks.
Unless you post YOUR OWN screenshots I doubt a lot will download this.
