MUS port and port can be anything. Just make sure you're not using the main ports (like 21 (ftp), 80 (http) etc...). Make sure the ports are open. For a list of ports, look here:

No, shockwave is dead. Shockwave is already a pest to install on Linux and MAC. New browsers will stop supporting it in Windows too.
