As far as I know the old public rooms were removed so you cannot enter them.

You can enter them. All of them are working fine in DE (Maybe not in COM/NL/FR). There just removed from the navigator.
Even the BOTs are still there.

Can't remember it right now :P There is a function called: "Client logging" or "Packetlogger" - correct me if I am wrong.

Take a look in the rival forum. There are enough tutorials.

Like @The General already said, they aren't able to visit because it doesn't support it fully .cct of the room.

All the rooms got closed/disabled a few weeks after Puhekupla posted the news article, as far as I am aware.
Are you able to provide some screenshots where you are in the room? Otherwise the "release" is useless and thread will be closed. :)
