mate, dont bump an old thread.
also, it depends what emulator you are using. If its closed source, like phoenix, probably already in there.

I have got this problem too...
I use the Phoenix Emulator 3.6.4.
When i want to buy a monkey there is a shelf..

The sprite id doesn't really matter most of time with an pet (atleast it never was an problem at my retro)
But if you get an actual furni instead of the pet than you didn't add it with the pet function :sneaky2:
