Thanks for your advice, I will be doing that, if and only if I actually decide to remain open, for now I have set a deadline for the vps to be setup.

As I stated in my first post, developers can use snippets of the source for there own projects. They don't exactly need to use all of your emulator in particular.

Your more or less stating that "If openhotel closes, then no-one else can run a hotel as I will report them by cohering with Sulake".
Just because your run a small hotel, doesn't give you the authority to report other communities because you have closed yours. That's just selfishness on your behalf.

I haven't ruined no community, all I have done is bring a new lease of life to open-source projects such as the Holograph Emulator. - The reason your annoyed is because the 'unique features' which your hotel once possessed have been released publicly for everyone else to enjoy.
Let's not forget something, you wouldn't have no hotel if it wasn't for the likes of Nillus and numerous other developers who go to great lengths in developing emulators. - I would say around 2% of the source I have released should be credited to you, if not that.
It's people like YOU who kill open-source projects and developers communitys.
G'day!

Your post is a real laugh, very entertaining. And sadly if you hadn't leaked other source codes such as my edition of it, then this would have never happened. You say I am selfish, well how is leaking people's various alterations of the source any different? Yup, you're selfish too in that case, for leaking an alteration of the source which wasn't yours in the first place. Nillus and numerous other developers decided to release their source, they didn't steal and leak it like you are, so try and not confuse the matters and read definitions from a dictionary more often. I can not wait to see future posts you make, as you make me laugh! :w00t:

I have to agree with j00p, he addressed some fair points.

I don't think users are going to give two tosses regarding the welfare of openhotel. It's just another 'retro' like the rest.

I can't spot no definition errors in joops post. Perhaps you should be one checking up the definitions in the dictionary?
Re: Openhotel.co.uk - Holograph Emulator Source Code
Yeah, exactly. You don't necessarily have to share anything CUSTOMIZED that you coded into Holograph Emulator, only thing is that, you can't say it's CLOSED SOURCE or anything, that's against the rules... So therefore, Ixel isn't selfish, because if he was, he would've never gave Habbz the Happy Hour, even though there's was one already published. J00P, there's not point of trying to use Reverse psychology on anyone. You should've never leak the dude's "Custom Alterations" period.
Re: Openhotel.co.uk - Holograph Emulator Source Code
No one way doors - failed. Wrong revision. Unlucky.
Re: Openhotel.co.uk - Holograph Emulator Source Code
No problem, I'm just repairing another version which I obtained. :D File attributes indicate it was last modified at the beginning of May. :)

Well, he hasn't had one way doors at beginning of May, yet again unlucky.
Just give it up, you won't get the OWD.
Re: Openhotel.co.uk - Holograph Emulator Source Code
Holograph emulator was released under the GNU licence. Stop crying and perhaps if you don't like having your shit ripped you should release the server and perhaps get some appreciation.
Re: Openhotel.co.uk - Holograph Emulator Source Code
Agree with Oni, MacabreOne and also j00p on this. I support open-source all the way. Sure if it was originally closed source then keep it closed source, but Holograph has always been open source and I don't care if the licence says 'you don't have to release it' - Well, it should be released in my opinion.

I'd like to see anyone take someone to court over this. In fact I'm going to release loads of private server source codes now just to piss you all off.
Hear, hear. Sounds good.

Lol @ the people who wants it fully open..
Be quiet. I do release my own work, wether it's simple PHP or Holograph bug fixes. I don't see you contibuting as all of your development threads are fake and never actually get released. You're just as bad as the people you compain about, child.

"Users Online: " + userManager.userCount + ".\r" +
"Users Online Peak: " + userManager.peakUserCount + ".\r" +
"Registered Users: " + DB.runRead("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM users") + ".\r" +
"Rooms in use: " + roomManager.roomCount + ".\r" +
"Rooms in use Peak: " + roomManager.peakRoomCount + ".\r" +
"Created Rooms: " + DB.runRead("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM rooms") + ".\r" +
"Amount of Furni: " + DB.runRead("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM furniture") + ".\r\r" +
"We hope you experience a nice time here and we hope to see you again!");

I just hate it when one faggot starts an argument, and all the other mini-wannabe-faggots stoop down to his level and start acting the big 'uns. YOU CAN'T MAKE YOURSELF LOOK TOUGH OVER THE NET BRUV. JUST CALM THE FUCK DOWN.
Now, I'm gonna leave this thread open; I've deleted all the useless shit you people have posted, despite this sudden movement that has occured whilst I have been away; everyone seems to hate moderators...?
Now, keep your dummies in your mouths, and those mouths shut.
Re: Openhotel.co.uk - Holograph Emulator Source Code
It's just a v24 client? ><
And we need a db, the db in the Resource don't work with the emulator ><
