Thats jQuery. Seems like he prefers to use javascript. In the end it doesnt really matter :)

When I copy and paste the code into a empty .html document it doesn't work, neither in a .php document. Can somebody help me?

What not works is when you type a password that a divider (weak, medium or strong) will change of color.
