On a brighter note, I have just sent out the first 2 beta copies of Phoenix Emu 3.0 to 2 licence holders, waiting on feedback to see how things go. If all is well then the 3.0 Emu beta will be publicly available tonight (to licence holders ofc).
Following the Emu beta release I plan on having the CMS released and on SVN within the next week. However, please note that it will only be the coldfusion version out at first - I have no idea when to expect a PHP release. I also think I'll be encrypting certain key files for security reasons - why you might as? Simple - Hacking a site that you know inside out is a hell of a lot easier than hacking a site you have no idea about. So for that reason certain files, that contain functions only, will be encrypted - the rest of the cms will be opensource and you really shouldn't notice or be affected by the closed-source files :)
More news as it comes :)
Can you provide the link to purchase the licence :)

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
@uberCMS: Register on 0taku and under Paid Subscriptions there should be an option to buy an 0taku Server License or something similar, anyway. I won't post a link because it could be classed as advertising =)
Ontopic: This is amazing, absolutely can't wait. Might get ColdFusion installed on my localhost so I can try this cms out!! :)

It's closed source, however the plugin system that was originally developed for uber but never leaked will be implemented in a future build, allowing users to implement their own c# plugins :)
The first beta release is now out.
Hoping to have the first CMS release out next weekend if all goes well :)

Yes Phoenix CMS is designed to work with Uber Emu and I am coding it with IIS6 as the target platform so yes, it should work flawlessly on IIS7

Coldfusion version simple works the install same as with xampp?

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
What's different between Coldfusion and PHP?
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
They're 2 different languages. Coldfusion requires a coldfusion server to run on, PHP requires a PHP server to run on. It's down to preference really. I was taught coldfusion in college and have stuck with it ever since.

Best to go with what you are most comfortable with anyway :)
I might even buy a server license soon ;')

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
Was messing about with Wired yesterday/tonight/this morning..
Got 6 items working so far, 3 triggers and 3 actions..
Made a video to show them working so here ya go;
YouTube - Phoenix 3.0 - Wired Furni
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
Nice, but it looks like you ripped of KekoMundo's Wired furni codes, Just saying :]
--- Edit ---
Nevermind, well done Aaron :]

Someone released some Wired Furni codes on KekoMundo, but it ain't finished though..
And eh how do we know that you didn't recorded H4bbo or Habbo with hypercam / etc?
The video doesn't show the URL..

A good clue is the fact that it takes 10 minutes to walk across a room on h4bbo.
Still no idea what kekomundo is, but uh.. I'll take a video with the url if you really want 8-)

PEjump2, just shut the fuck up and leave this thread! Sojobo doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. I might not know him, but I know that he does not rip things or fake.
Anyway, good work with the Wired!
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
Well done Aaron, cant wait til all the wired furni is complete!
How is the CMS coming along?
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
CMS is kinda on pause, although I'm hoping to get it up on SVN this coming weekend.
Just got another wired trigger working - the "user on furni" thing :)

KekeMundo is a Portuguese forum, that has excellent coders..
And they code everything first
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
We know he hasn't recorded this on h4bbo etc etc is
Because I've been on aarons hotel, and well he shows me all the stuff he does before it gets released
Aaron has got wired furni under progress not stolen from h4bbo or kekomondo or w.e it's called give it a break srs

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
Is the CMS and emulator still illegal? He is writing his own code but is he using habbo's stuff?
Posted via Mobile Device
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
The emulator is legal, if he doesn't use habbo images on the CMS then it's legal...it's the SWFs that are illegal

-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
I now have 10 triggers working and 4 effects working. They're available now on Phoenix 3.0 so you can go and see for yourself now.
Oh and just fyi, 10 triggers is 3 more than what h4bbo has, so explain how I ripped that :)

SWFs will always be illegal, unless you change all the images.
Emulator is in development.

Hmm, how's the Wired furni structure in the emulator coded?
Flatfile or MySQL?
Privilege has it with some weird cache file system or something o_O

You're bloody obsessed with H4bbo.
People need to understand something....
It will NOT be released since they like to have a unique hotel.
Nuff Said
---------- Post added at 05:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:19 PM ----------
Because I am sure, if you made that emulator, you would want only 1 unique hotel, not ten million, because it gets boring, like uberemu.

Flatfile? bahaha, no. Some of the furni requires MySQL, most of it just chills in cache.
Like I said, check out my hotel (Phoenix 3.0) It has it all up and running there. I'm gonna try and code some more of the effects furni today, hopefully get them all done then maybe make a start on the conditions tomorrow.
-

WOw nice work on the CMS, i may think of getting to know this cold fusion stuff.

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
Now available on SVN: phoenixcf - Project Hosting on Google Code
Please note that this is a very early release, there is no housekeeping and there is no install script. Basically if you're a noob I just wouldn't bother trying to use this yet, it's not noob friendly yet and it won't be for a little while. Those of you who know how to use SVN, understand what errors mean and aren't afraid to mess around with the coding however should feel free to dive in and take a look at it.
Again, I wouldn't recommend this CMS for a live site yet, it still needs a fuck tonne of work done to it and I will do it bit by bit.
Leave feedback, comments and bugs/feature requests and I will try to prioritise my work.
Enjoy and have fun.
One last thought.. if you get the urge to kill yourself, or maybe me while trying to get this working then uh.. Relax, don't do it.
YouTube - Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax (Don't Do It)
-wonders if this would be better off in the releases forum now-

Torrent coldfusion, silly.

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
I use coldfusion to set it up??
-
Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
Setting this up is so confusing, I have coldfusion installed, and it will load cfm index files, except the files in the cms, it opens it in the browser like it's a text document, but the CF admin panel works fine.
and in the cms config, I don't know what to change or what not to change.

Likewise, I have the same problems..

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
If your browser tries to download the files instead of display them then it's because you've not installed coldfusion correctly.

You need to go into your coldfusion admin panel, go to datasources, add a new MySQL datasource called Phoenix3 and enter your MySQL details. Simples :)

No, SVN means its a 2 click process for me to upload updates, and if you set it up right it means it a 2 click process for you to update your copy to the latest version too.

Re: Phoenix CMS [UberEmu Compatible]
still doesn't work, after i choose my name and character, it goes to characters.cfm and sits at a white screen doing nothing
it also hangs on a white screen while trying to log in
