Oh, and spazz do you have that DB yet?
I'm going to upload it to the svn with an updated emulator when I get back on my mac

Being able to enter a room has nothing to do with the CMS, if you get to Hotel view then the CMS is working fine.
Guy that posted sayin its not the vars :\ No offence but u got much learnin to do. Its ur vars. Sometimes they arent set up fully right. I got mine up :P CMS gots no errors :\
When i install coldfusion and add index.cfm to my conf file, apache wont start after that 0.o.
oh this thread got blowed up, nice Release and coding Aaron ;)
Probs means you did it wrong.
Thanks :)
I'll get started on Housekeeping soon, just working on my topsites atm, check it out if ya like - RetroTopsites
Only registration working atm so don't expect miracles heh, hoping to have it all up and done within the next few days though :)
Nah, I wacthed and followed what the video 3 times. I also know other people who encounter this problem.

# This is the main Apache HTTP server configuration file. It contains the
# configuration directives that give the server its instructions.
# See <URL:http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2> for detailed information.
# In particular, see
# <URL:http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/directives.html>
# for a discussion of each configuration directive.
#
# Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding
# what they do. They're here only as hints or reminders. If you are unsure
# consult the online docs. You have been warned.
#
# Configuration and logfile names: If the filenames you specify for many
# of the server's control files begin with "/" (or "drive:/" for Win32), the
# server will use that explicit path. If the filenames do *not* begin
# with "/", the value of ServerRoot is prepended -- so "logs/foo.log"
# with ServerRoot set to "C:/xampp/apache" will be interpreted by the
# server as "C:/xampp/apache/logs/foo.log".
#
# NOTE: Where filenames are specified, you must use forward slashes
# instead of backslashes (e.g., "c:/apache" instead of "c:\apache").
# If a drive letter is omitted, the drive on which httpd.exe is located
# will be used by default. It is recommended that you always supply
# an explicit drive letter in absolute paths to avoid confusion.
#
# ServerRoot: The top of the directory tree under which the server's
# configuration, error, and log files are kept.
#
# Do not add a slash at the end of the directory path. If you point
# ServerRoot at a non-local disk, be sure to point the LockFile directive
# at a local disk. If you wish to share the same ServerRoot for multiple
# httpd daemons, you will need to change at least LockFile and PidFile.
#
ServerRoot "C:/xampp/apache"
#
# Listen: Allows you to bind Apache to specific IP addresses and/or
# ports, instead of the default. See also the <VirtualHost>
# directive.
#
# Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to
# prevent Apache from glomming onto all bound IP addresses.
#
#Listen 0.0.0.0:80
#Listen [::]:80

This is most likely the best releases ive ever seen. Phoenix cms and emu. Best ever. CMS is great. And the emu is just perfect. :P
So I have been editing this heavily making a theme and just basically customizing it to my liking. But I have a couple of questions.
How do I change it from saying "Phoenix 3.0" on the top corner of every page, the index page and such has it but the rest don't have a <title> tag in them, so I checked and I think it comes from hdr_generic, but it has symbols and stuff in it, and if i save it it screws up because of the symbols and the site own't work.
My second question, I had to make an htaccess, because if I change the name of the folder 1-Home to 1-Account the it still works except for a few links, like after you hit login, it still tries to redirect to 1-Home, but all the other links work fine, they detect the name change, and there isn't anything in the Characters.cfm that links specifically to 1-Home, I got it working with an htaccess redirect, but I'm just curious.
My third question, when you do a mail verifaction it sends the emial, btu the link that comes with it is...
This means that I have to add my website in front of that address to verify, it's quite a pain to have to tell users that. Is there a way I can set what link it sends, so I can set it to have the full correct link?Code:system/functions/verifymail.cfm?mail=(MY EMAIL I REMOVED IT FOR SECURITY)&ver=597834
Final Question, what is the games tab, I removed it because it links to a broken otaku link that is messed up.
You can't change the title because inside hdr_generic it is all encrypted code and changing it breaks it.. I tried it :)
As to your question about the email, if you go to system/email you can change all the links and put ur hotel url infront of the system/functions/verifymail stuff
I will add the option to change the header when I do housekeeping.
I guess I have a static link to 1-home somewhere, it's maybe in main.cfm in the root directory, check that out.
Email templates are all in /system/email/ - they're all html so edit to your liking.
There's nothing to the games tab, it was just a filler when I made the original thing, I don't use it for Habboon either.
Nope, I'm finishing off RetroTopsites, after which I will probably get started on Housekeeping. Just gotta finish off the in-links and then RTS is pretty much shweet for release, just done login and the user panel tonight.
Few more questions, when My Habbo has VIP it still shows the HC image on my homepage, but in your image it shows the little VIP image.
When will the ability to login with a social network be available like in the images.
When will there be a release with credits and VIP page like in the images?
---------- Post added at 09:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:11 AM ----------
You should also add a page system to the news comments, so the comments don't make the page a mile long.
To have a VIP page Listing The VIP's
go to
http://spazzlake.co.cc/content/2-Community.zip
It's like the one on habboon
Where did you get that?
Have you upload the working DB yet? I still need a decent emulator until I buy Phoenix on friday.
---------- Post added at 09:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:52 AM ----------
I had Main-FANCY kind of working before but now it doesn't
I done a tab with VIP Details & Spotlight, pretty simple..
80% of the time, the pages are simple HTML.
Got my PhX License ;D
Will probably make a test hotel later.
Omg, I L-O-V-E T-H-I-S!
You should add a way so you can make a campaign, without it being news. Make a campaign section on the news page, so you can read the stories, but make it so the campaigns don't have to be shown as a news box. I could do it myself, but hrd_news is encrypted so I can't edit it. I made a mysql value in cms_news, it was called news and I would have it set to show it as news only if that was set to 1, but I can't because of the file encryptions.
in the database which is the table to manage the campaign section ?
in the other CMS is site_hotcampaign, but I dont see that table in this db :S
You can make a news article a campaign by changing the column in cms_news to 1
---------- Post added at 09:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:14 AM ----------
I've just put an update onto SVN that forces users to vote for your site on RetroTopsites.com when they load up the client it will redirect them to vote.cfm if they haven't voted on retrotopsites.com for your website today - all verfied by RTS.com too so there's no way around it.
If you need any help with this new update lemme know - RTS isn't finished yet but the in & out links are now working so I figure now is a good time to put in the RTS functions into PHX CF.
Anyway let me know how it goes, it's live on Habboon now.
Sojobo! I trying to edit files inside: Functions, but if i edit with dreamweaver or the editor for adobefusion. It just get many blocks.
Since i wana edit the email the emails get out from:
contact@*************.com trying to edit, but then the .cfm get error :(
Any tips?
The movie don't tell me how to get the files into my htdocs folder, how to do that?
Do you know when the housekeeping will be done?
Made it so offline sites vanish off the main page now, theres a button in the top right to toggle the display of offline sites.
Also go a new button to show stats, which atm consist of everything to do with in & out votes.
Just need to do the comments system then RTS is pretty much sorted.
Once all that is sorted I think the next project for me is going to be getting started on Housekeeping.
This is outstanding. I remember the dev thread, it looked amazing then! Thanks for the release.
Can anyone post a uberdb and emulator wich will work with this cms?
Well.. I made a really sweet layout for Housekeeping.. the only problem is that it only looks good in Chrome, every other browser renders it like crap lol.
http://i.imgur.com/mDfmW.png
looking good *perfection*
Any objections to Chrome-only Housekeeping before I continue?
http://i.imgur.com/IBlvL.png
will this need sql
oh ok what will you be adding?
Adding to what? I have no idea what you're talking about.
I think most users use Chrome, I personally do. :)
+ It's a simple download away.
(HK looks hawtt already)
I'm working out how to get it working for the other browsers atm.. I have them looking like this so far;
http://i.imgur.com/jy3xX.png
http://i.imgur.com/DiSTc.png
Also, in a later build of Emu - will you be able to change amount of pixels & credits gave out per fifteen minutes via HK?
Nice work Aaron, I might actually use this later in time.
Looks amazing, if you need help with cross-browser compatibility message me! :)
Gradient thing on side:
Chrome
FireFoxCode:background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left, from(color1), to(color2));
IECode:background: -moz-linear-gradient(left, color1, color2);
sorry if you already know, just want to help :)Code:filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr='color1', endColorstr='color2');
Got the rank check working now and whipped up a nice little permission error page;

ppuuurddyyy. looks really nice aaron. good luck on this
Im usin phoenix emu and for some reason nobody loads for me. Like, Some others are having this problem too.Was working fine 2 mins ago. Now it isnt :\
My mates and i are trying to code a housekeeping. Basic items such as: Ranks, Vouchers, And thats about as far as weve gotton so far. We are going to try to add user editor to change coins,Name, rank etc.
Pointless Trev, Aaron has already started work on the official one so might aswell just wait! :)
+ You could code something a certain way, then an update comes & it becomes useless..
True. I guess ill wait and get it then like maybe add stuff to it lol somethin :P
Also experienced an issue. Catalogue is fucked up, my definition of fucked up means: un-organized, items in wrong order, ect. Not exactly sure if it's the database itself, because I've checked it, everything seems in order, or it could be the SWF, or furnidata. If you know the fix to this, please help me, or post a link to a new furnidata or whatever the fix is.
Still fiddling around with the style, got some tooltips working now
http://i.imgur.com/s6bJd.png
Yayay - Every bit of development makes it look even better
Still messing around with the CSS and general look & feel of the thing;
http://i.imgur.com/ELadh.png
Nice Aaron, keep it up!
not bad aaron keep it up
Started messing about with the news page now;
http://i.imgur.com/VFokk.png
Looking epic so far! Can't wait for it to be released :)
For credits/pixels, will you be able to make it so that you can change Non-VIP's & VIP's amount?
Great work so far man! Keep it up ;)
Can Someone Make This Phpretro Theme
lol phpretro nice aaron
What Emulator can we use for this cms ?
You can use Phoenix Emulator, which is coded by Aaron (Sojobo) so that is guarenteed to work, however if you do not want to pay for that, or you can not afford it, any version of uberEmulator should work. I think the database structure might need changing a little bit though. I am not entirely sure!
Obviously we got a thread full of idiots of some sort, I simply asked for help under the quote of..
"Also experienced an issue. Catalogue is fucked up, my definition of fucked up means: un-organized, items in wrong order, ect. Not exactly sure if it's the database itself, because I've checked it, everything seems in order, or it could be the SWF, or furnidata. If you know the fix to this, please help me, or post a link to a new furnidata or whatever the fix is."
And nobody yet replies, hmm I suppose I'll post it again, and give this another try. I know some of you people know the fix to this.
Perhaps I've tried? Obviously you can't fix it either, or else you would help. This has relation as I am using his Coldfusion CMS as-well as his Phoenix 3.0 License, therefore you are free to leave. My help request at least has common sense as it does relate to this.
ehm where to get this cms?
this link phoenixcf - Project Hosting on Google Code ??
gekkerdman that's right!
Hello Aaron, whitch emulator do you think is the best for this CMS?
(Say me other, no Phoenix Emulator)
And other thing, where can I buy a license for Phoenix Emulator?
Purru i have one and i want to start a hotel with somebody? interested?^^
All people that wanna buy a Phoenix Emulator license, DON'T BUY IT!
Meth0d is recoding UberEMU right now with a License system,
You can better wait for that & buy a license for the new UberEmulator,
If you wanna have some real epic shit :)

I have a new VPS... Interesteeed! You know that my hotel had 23.000 registered users the last summer? With UBER! But now, I want to use Phoenix...
@PEjump: I know, I saw this yesterday, but Meth0d sometimes is too slow coding... But... Yeah! Uber Is one of the best servers in the wooooorld of retroooos! :) Thanks!
Cant say I like it really, I dislike that its Uber and I also dislike that system where you have multiple avatars on one account..
Yeah course he will. I don't see Aaron coding an scratch Emulator, then getting it leaked? Derp derp, after all his work gone to waste he still decides to carry on.
I have to agree with PE, I would much rather pay for Uber pro than Pheonix.
i get this error
The web site you are accessing has experienced an unexpected error.
Please contact the website administrator.
The following information is meant for the website developer for debugging purposes.
Error Occurred While Processing Request
Could not find the included template /online.cfm.
Note: If you wish to use an absolute template path (for example, template="/mypath/index.cfm") with CFINCLUDE, you must create a mapping for the path using the ColdFusion Administrator. Or, you can use per-application settings to specify mappings specific to this application by specifying a mappings struct to THIS.mappings in Application.cfc.
Using relative paths (for example, template="index.cfm" or template="../index.cfm") does not require the creation of any special mappings. It is therefore recommended that you use relative paths with CFINCLUDE whenever possible.

Anyone tell me where I can get phoenix Cms, if it is possible to get, As i cannot find a good working CMS.
phoenixcf - Project Hosting on Google Code
@comments about Uber Pro -
Sure you could buy it but Phoenix has been around and making releases since 2006 - that's 5 years of updates so far, Phoenix Emu is 100% stable and the most feature-rich Emulator currently available. Uber Pro might take months to develop. Just my 2 cents :)
Go to "source" on that page and copy the the link on that page into tortoisesvn
can someone help me please
Sorry I sound nooby, but what is tortoisesvn?
Nvm I found it, ty XD

Is it just the same as setting up Uber?
And do I need to do any edits to use it with uberemu, instead of phoenix emu?
