If people finished their projects, rather than spend years on them (which is absolutely ridiculous for a Habbo emulator, no exceptions), people wouldn't feel compelled to leak/crack others' work. It's that simple.

Neither of those were exploits dumbarse
1 was to just double check who could do shutdown cmd (Hence the && as well as the fuse)
Other was just to stop me being logged in staff logs

Learn to code and find out what each bit does before falsely reporting bullshit.

It'd be easy to do it ourselves but since his catalog has features not previously in any emulator (like the bots page), it'd be more helpful for someone to release the data.

I know a person and he is questioning if he should release the emulator when it is done. Its just that there are some points here he has to decide on. If it will be released should it be open source or closed source? If it is released open source there will be renames for sure and that sucks when someone put a lot of work into a emulator and someone else changes the about dialog and renames it (or even sells it). Those are the few question people face when they work on a emulator. If you're not intending to releasing it it is not that hard to keep it private but once you're doubting you start giving people some copies and once you give those copies you cant stop them. IF someone makes a decent emulator why not a closed source version with free licensing. You can request a license on a website and it will be emailed to you instantly. You have a great point there dude they could release it on a free licence, but what's to say it wont have exploits?
that's one big thing when its not open they could hide anything in it and no one would know,

but yeah I guess if you have a developer that has a lot of respect thru out the forum then yeah,

but then what's to say some one wont go ahead and open it up?

This were a private emulator (and still are). It's was not going to be released.
Of course I would have felt like giving up but it doesn't matter in this case since it won't affect us if they do so.

It's not about it getting functional it's about getting it stable and free of exploits and such. I happen to have a few more players online than you.

What CMS are you using. I was having some luck with PHPCMS based on ubercms but was getting a ticket issue.

Also the "fixed" source is broken because he removed the RSA Encryption tables.

That is because you need to change the SSO Ticket for rev cms.


EDIT: Replace the 4 files in your wwwroot/app/ in you rev cms then replace the 4 files with the files here,

I love how a leak of an emulator (on an ancient build :P:) has sparked a "they should've released it anyway" war.

There is no obligation to do so. The jealousy is fine with you, young ones. "Oh, but he flashes it about like he owns the place" - and your point? It's pride - everyone has it.

The fixed source code that is provided does compile, but client cannot connect to it, looking into the source myself a few things are missing compared to decompiling the released exe.

You fella's are getting a bit giddy. Keep it on topic, or you know what happens.
