[Press Release] Habbo Changes Infringement Policy

Hey guys. Today, I was looking at Habbo's rules to see if they changed their infringement policy. They did. To see all their changes and more, you can view them by clicking here or by going to http://*******.com/3z7cfwa

Basically, I saw, they detailed it more and told you what was going to happen. They also said they do not sue, they simply contact the host and tell them to take it down. You are also allowed to counter this by sending a letter with a bunch of details of why you didn't copy their shit. Although, if you send in a counter and they deny it, they recommend contacting a attorney.

Basically, another point for the retro community, we now know for a fact they won't sue, they will just tell you to take it down. We knew this before, but now its confirmed. Unless, you take the route of sending a counter.

Nobody has a retro that would really be like "oh no it's gone"! They're all running Pheonix or Uber, make something unique then I'll give a shit. Right now anyone can just hop to the next server as if nothing changed, because NOTHING CHANGED.

Re: [Press Release] Habbo Changes Infringement Policy

Isn't this a notice about infringements that Habbo might be in error of and not vice versa, IE, Habbo using copyright material within their game and a person(s) wish to submit a complaint.

Re: [Press Release] Habbo Changes Infringement Policy

Actually my reply is the same as mental.

This is a notice incase someone claims that habbo/sulake have copied or infringed from someone else, been there for a while if not since they opened now
