Re: Project Azure Emulator 2.0 [Stable and Fast] [Dev Release] [PRODUCTION-2015061612
People are hating on this like they could do better. :sleep:-Hah.
Jamal and the team work hard and gets negative feedback about it. Of course there will be bugs, nothing is perfect.
Instead of blabbering about the issues and hating on the team for contributing to the retro community; help fix the issues at hand.
-Jamal and the team, thanks for the release and all your hard work you've put in the project.

Re: Project Azure Emulator 2.0 [Stable and Fast] [Dev Release] [PRODUCTION-2015061612
I'm more than happy to use Azure emulator, I haven't seen a good emulator release that isn't azure in a LONG TIME. Maybe there's one hidden somewhere- but it's been like, what...two years? Personally, I believe that the golden days of Habbo Retros are long gone...but maybe with a user-based contribution like Azure, we can bring the retro/development community back together. Instead of insulting others work, we can get together, team up and help out. Sure, it might have people who dislike it now, but if the retro community came together and got shit done together, we'd have some pretty sick stuff to use.
Go ahead and disagree with me, that's just how I feel.

Errrmmm... I'd personally say that Rev is the best CMS to use with Azure. What do you mean when you say that IIS wont install well on your PC? It's meant to be set-up on a VPN. If you need help, send me a PM and I can give you my skype or fb.

Lots of things are perfect, everyone in this section is just too happy with sub-par products. What can I expect though, this is the Habbo section, full of idiots and spoon fed noobs, such as yourself.

Purchase a Virtual Private Server, do not attempt to use your personal PC unless you have a great network and a good machine.

Because the good emulators aren't released, and for good reason. People ruin them, rename them, and steal code.
Not only that, but how many people are running hotels that profit on this Emulator? I can name a few that I've personally worked for and fixed Azure bugs for.

Nothing is perfect, you may call me what you wish. I know who and what I am.
But let's bring the childish arguments down to a minimum and act like adults. :) (Even though the majority of this section is surrounded by kids.)

Re: Project Azure Emulator 2.0 [Stable and Fast] [Dev Release] [PRODUCTION-2015061612
Hi guys,
I have fixed that friendlist error. (Duplicating one)
Fixes :
Azure.Emulator > Messages > Handlers > Messenger.cs
Line 25 remove this line. Session.GetHabbo().InitMessenger();
And in Azure.Emulator > Messages > Handlers > Others.cs
Line 302 after SendResponse();
Add
Session.GetHabbo().InitMessenger();
Tested by me. 3 hours and no duplicating. xD

Google Chrome's virus detection gives me cancer. Everything downloaded from Free large file hosting. Send big files the easy way! is also detected as a virus. Perform a runtime virus scan before running the files if you wish.

Azure Emulator has been destroyed by alot of people. The code is touched to much times by bad developers who use a loop in the pathfinder >.> ..
I did try to get back the old Azure where we released like every 2 weeks an build (Azure 0152,.., 0172, 0175, 0178, 0180, ... , 0190) and where we really got some good process.
I have saw people come and go who helped improve Azure. I hope AzureSharp is going to hide the failure of Azure 2.0 :')..
My relation with Azure has been ended and hope @GerardNL takes the public Azure (AzureSharp) back to the time where it needs to be. For me now I'm going to work on a private version of Azure and see where that ends.
Have a nice day.

The problem with the entire Azure project lie with terrible leadership and poor design choices. The entire team has been focusing on features and nothing but that rather than actually making it perform well. The team has been listening to the community too much when the users request features.
Just my two cents.

Maybe if you read the amount of help posts and help thread about this shit emulator you wouldn't have to ask this question. Don't listen to some noob who says its fine aka @HotelMaker , guy is called hotelmaker for a start and is using a public released emu.
In short, NO ITS NOT.
