Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server
Burak made that same script like 3 months ago with using the hosts file (but it got patched). Why not just use Quacksters crack instead?

Because some people would rather not use cracks. I believe Burak released a licence checker, not a server.

It's unstable. A lot.

Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server -- use Phoenix without cracks
Unfortunately, we have been confronted again that the Phoenix server is obviously down so we'll just have to bare and wait for him to fix this and get it back running. Hopefully soon!

Code:
Pinging bui.pm [198.147.23.177] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 198.147.23.177: bytes=32 time=248ms TTL=48
Reply from 198.147.23.177: bytes=32 time=245ms TTL=48
Reply from 198.147.23.177: bytes=32 time=263ms TTL=48
Reply from 198.147.23.177: bytes=32 time=237ms TTL=48
The server is up...
You can verify that the DNS server is functioning with this URL: http://www.digwebinterface.com/?host...servers=bui.pm

Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server -- use Phoenix without cracks
Yeah right, it doesn't work for me at all. Getting the same error as before.
My DNS Settings is as you preferred it to be with: 198.147.23.177
And the alternative: 8.8.8.8 so it doesn't work for me. I also have the tcp.game port correctly set as you've told me to so i don't know what the hell is wrong today.

Something on your side. The DNS server is responding to requests correctly, so you're doing something wrong. Try flushing your DNS cache (ipconfig /flushdns and wait a few minutes).
Or alternatively, set up your own server. But there's nothing wrong with mine, not sure what your issue is.

Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server -- use Phoenix without cracks
Thanks, i needed to Flush my DNS again that was obviously the problem, however i do want to set up my own server but it's so hard that i don't even want to try because I'm way to scared of failing and thus not really willing to take a risk.
Maybe you or someone else can help me set this up because this whole DNS thing is rather getting an issue.

Doubt it; I'm not hosting any copyrighted content, and Habbo is mentioned nowhere in my server :)

Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server -- use Phoenix without cracks
I sure as hell ain't routing my DNS through you. This is asking for people to poison their DNS willingly..

I only set a zone for otaku.cm; I'm seeing plenty of people use this so there's no big fuss:
Code:
$ ls /etc/bind/zones
otaku.cm.db
If you're gonna be paranoid, feel free to set up your own DNS server. As mentioned several times, this is for the lazy.

It works just fine if you set it up right.
By the way, any of you using this needs to secure your DNS server since your ip will be used in DDoS attacks and therefore your host will shut down your server.

Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server -- use Phoenix without cracks
If I run this on my vps will it get slow?

Re: [PUBLIC] Phoenix Licence Server -- use Phoenix without cracks
Seems good for people who still use phoenix
