U are completely right. It's very useless. I can make a list of available R63 C# emulators:
DuckEmu
PrjctBreak
Snowlight
UberEmu
ION/Deltar
Novic
I can continue if I want but I think this is enough. Only ION/Deltar is enough, since it's a great base to use (yes, even for noobs IMO).
I'm not trying to be a cool dude, this is just what I think. Don't flame me okay?
But there currently is no C# Flatfile Emulators around

IMO(In my opinion): There's no need, because there's tons of C# r63 emulators, and it would/could be a good opportunity to learn a new language (VB6).
Code it, i nearly finished, just need to get WinSocket as an Array
Re: [R63] Flatfile Emulator
Any idea how to find out packets ?
Re: [R63] Flatfile Emulator
Make up a tut on it and I'll buy you a beer.
Re: [R63] Flatfile Emulator
My Tip:
Quote:
Call CallByName(DataHandlerForm, "DataHandler_" & decodeB64(PacketHeader), 1, Index)
Put all the handling from the data arrival instead of a map (select case) into several functions called DataHandler_3001 (Packet Id) and use the function CallByName, it makes your DataArrival more clean for you.
Another Tip:
Code functions like:
Quote:
userId = readInt32(Index)
userName = readUTF8(Index)
instead of using the split functions etc on all the packets, it saves you allot of time in coding those things :)

Re: [R63] Flatfile Emulator
@Quackster, I really like this simple flatfile server you've coded, especially as it's coded in VB6 (old school) it's a great start for beginners! I might re-learn from this haha!
