Anyways, if you have debbo beta, and get error 76, or any other error that has to do with file not found, heres the fix. Ok my dear noobs, I made this as simple as I can.

HOW TO FIX ERROR 76 AND OTHER FILE NOT FOUND ERRORS (REALLY SIMPLE):

1. Download the fix here (feel free to scan): RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting
2. MAKE SURE you unzip it to local/logs
3. Open fix.bat

If it doesn't work, check again that you unziped to local/logs, nowhere else. It should work until the nillus makes the patch. (or until 01/01/08, whichever comes first.)

Detailed description for those of you who are curious.
The reason that you are getting error 76 is because somewhere in the debbo v4 code, it was asked to look for month/day/year.log in the local/logs/chatlogs folder. (so today, it would look for 10/6/2007.log and tomorrow, it would look for 10/7/2007.log, etc) Anyways, I found this out through an advanced debugging technique. The fix will make enough folders until 12/31/2007.log (more then enough time for Nillus or the crew to fix it). So Nillus, if you are viewing, please find the piece of code that does this and delete it.

IF it doesn't work, make SURE YOU:

1. Are using rev 14 or 15
2. unzipped ALL the files to local\logs (NOT local or chatlogs) (e.x: C:\retro\local\logs\)
3. Make sure your computer is running windows (duh!), tested on windows vista
4. MAKE SURE YOU RAN IT AS ADMINISTRATOR
5. If it still doesn't work, post the command output like this:

Someone posted a fix, and it worked for me.

Control Panel >> Regional and Language Options >> Customize [Under the standards and format area] >> Date

Change DATE SEPARATOR Under "Short date" from "/" to "-". This is what it should look like...

Apparently the server has troubles understand the "/" or something. Go figure.
