yeah, especially "wow" when you have to vote everytime you enter a hotel's website. Developers are able to force their visitors to vote with TheHabbos API. It's basically like you're suspected for being a robot, and have to pass the test every 24 hours. Clicking the damn animals was hard enough.
Well, how come that Facebook and Google has software that read pictures and recognize faces and porn? I'm sure there got to be something out there, but at Habbo level? No I don't think so.
Personally I would rather have a hard captcha than have people cheating by bot voting. Because I know a few big hotels that cheat there way up there. As-long as the user can still pass the captcha I say bring it on.

Google and Facebook check for colour, and shapes, and its not like everyone has the access to resources like Google & Facebook does.
And actually most checks for pornography fail on Facebook and Google. (Plus Google and Facebook have huge lists of known porn sites)
And even if Facebook and Google could have extremely accurate porn blocks letters and numbers are another thing, there is no known crack for ReCaptcha.
And what I mean by no known crack I mean there are currently no known applications capable of accurately reading ReCaptcha, its been done before but Google can patch it within hours.
This is true. To crack ReCaptch you'd need a reader stronger than Google's reader (The one they use for the books the words come from. The words you CAN read come from books which go through computers, in an attempt to digitize books where computers cannot) and a reader that can individualize the letters of the random word. That is to say, separate them and order them.
Your right, I know you're a good developer and know what you're talking about so I trust you on this. I just think it's wired how Facebook and Google can recognize faces trough color and shapes only. And as I said no one at this level has access to that kind of material.
