About RS Releases

Runescape server files, source releases and client packs shared by RaGEZONE members, covering v2, v1.0, v1, v3, v4, 1.0, v7, v3.5, v5 and v1.5.

Downloads here range from full Runescape server file packs with a matching client, through compiled server binaries and database dumps, to complete emulator source you can build yourself. Most releases name the client build the files expect and the database engine they were tested against.

RuneScape private servers - RSPS - are organised by client revision, with 317 and 508 the recurring bases and 377, 503, 525, 666 and 718 released. Sources include Devolution (Dodian w/ Silab), Veng Pkers, Cheezscape, AJScape, ButterScape, AquaScape, Delta, 317 PI, the Palidino blank 508 source and 718 Nexus; Jolt Environment is a C# emulator for 666 on MySQL. MikeRSWeb, the Jagex Model Viewer and webclients recur. Setup is Java - JDK, compiler, run.bat - with a per-revision cache, and stalls on changing 127.0.0.1 in client.java to the server IP, recompiling, port forwarding or Hamachi, js5connect errors, autospawn.cfg spawns, and VPS or Linux hosting. Threads run 2007 to 2026.

Common questions

Where can I download Runescape server files?
Every thread in this section is a Runescape release posted by a member, with the files attached or linked. Read the first post for what is included and which client build it targets before downloading anything.
Do these Runescape files include the source code?
Some do. Releases marked as source, or as a full pack, include server source you can compile yourself. Others are precompiled binaries with a database dump only. The thread title and first post say which.
Which Runescape builds are covered here?
The releases in this section cover v2, v1.0, v1, v3, v4, 1.0, v7, v3.5, v5 and v1.5. Older builds stay in the archive rather than being removed, so earlier ones are usually still findable further down.
