[Setup] [317] Setting Up Dodian/Devias Files!!

Here is the tutorial on how to setup Dodian website, and server and to login!! its pretty easy and simple.

Step1:
Go Downloading the following stuff:

• apache friends - xampp
• Downloading File - Devias_Project_V1.rar
• Downloading File - compiler.rar
• Downloading File - database.rar

Step2:
Installing part!

1. Install Xampp, and run "xampp-control" and start "Apache + Mysql".
2. Go to http://localhost/security/index.php and secure your server. (remmeber the pass/user)
3. Then go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

Step3:
Importing

1. Now import the database into it! simple and easy "click import" duh!!
2. Now grab all the website files from the server files and put them in [C > Xampp > htdocs]
3. go to [htdocs > conf > config.php] and edit the info in there!

Step4:
Website

Go to [URL="http://localhost/"]cPanel

The website is screwed, make a better tut on how to set up the website - people can't create characters to login to the game, what use is the source than?

sry i cant figure this out at all... yea go ahead and call me a noob cause i am... i go to localhost/phpmyadmin and all it does is say permission is forbidden.... what am i doing wrong???

wow great updates... but unfortunately im still getting 403 access denied/forbidden... my comps all screwed up and i cant port foward... but i belong to an RS website and we gonna host a server so i wanted to check out the source =P... oh well thanks for trying ill just get the hoster to do this stuff lol

403 access when you go on root?? thats good.. you need to type in your username and pass that you set up in the security section =) hehe!

Well, I made my own registration page, your tut did not work, but, I still get a "Could not complete login" error. It must be a game error...

You find out wherever your "database" that you downloaded is and import it.

you import the database to your phpmyadmin.. its not rocket science =)
