[Tut] how to change ur port - for noobs.

READ CAREFULLY!

1.open up ur server file
2. open server.java
3. press ctrl + f and search for "43594" (without the "")
4. change it into what ever port you want it to be!
5.Compile

ok i dont get it i did changes to every file of a server i downloaded and the changes including port change aren't taking place even though i save the files and i even checked files again after going on server and it still doesnt go with my changes

if i already have a open port, then i change the port in server file in the open port so i dont need to portforward anymore right ? or cant i do this ?

Im not tottaly sure!!!!!! but try to add the same line as the regular port default port daha copy them 2times under each other and then see if it works!

It's so straight forward, if you need pictures for this you don't deserve to have a server at all.

what if u have a RSC Private server? it doesn't have a Server File fust a .jar file.

And If its not a 317 server , if its a 508 , you go to you Folder root directory > CMD

Then Edit Run and look at the end you should see

43594

Replace it with the port you want the 508 server to run on :D
