[Tut] How to get many users online your server and make a server

This tutorial will teach you how to make a good edited server, and get lots of users online.


1 :: First off, find a source:

2 :: Secondly, make your server:

Search the Server Tutorial section to find a nice tutorial (skip the parts where you need to download a source, since you just did that)

3 :: Thirdly, once It's all made:

Go to Knowledge Database and Releases and Downloads and add some neat stuff to your server.

Do NOT just open your source without editing.


4 :: Fourthly, once you finish editing a lot of it:

Make a Server Ad, in the Server Advertisement Zone
Runescape Server Ad Zone - MMORPG Development Forums - RaGEZONE (sponsored by TFN.gr)

Be sure to add lots of screenshots (5+) and try to make a good advertisement, lots of information, and images.



Now, I can assure you, if you edit your source, and make a good advertisement, then your server will have so many users, it will be great!

I know this is very basic, but it does help.

Note :: Please spend atleast 30 minutes to 1 hour (Minimum) adding stuff to your server, and editing, that will make it great!

Other Note :: Please listen, some servers ask for like 100k-1mil+ cash to be staff. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of! Admins and mods HELP you, they don't PAY you, you SHOULD be paying them, now, if your charging cash, please stop.

Guys, you should add custom shops, npcs, buildings, item spawns, objects, anything to change around the server, no one wants to go onto an un-edited server.

alot of people join servers that have silabs. something that leads peaple to your server or leave is premium memberschip.

Actually, silabsoft slows it down, about 55% of runescapers prefer non-silabsoft servers.

depends from server to server.
some servers are verry big(big sources) or some are like nothing(blank sources)
but tru3scape is like 3,32 MB (3.488.804 bytes)
this is normal i think becaus this server has like normal things
