Step One
Make sure the person is logged out then open your server files.
Once you've opened it and you're sure they've logged out open the character file (normally in the folder CHARACTERS) and you should see something like this:

Change the bit in red to 2 and the bit in green to 3.
Step Two
now that you've done that, save it, and if your server has a folder called charbackup then repeat step one.
Now go back to your main server file and open the folder DATA and see if it has a .txt file called administrators. If it does then add the characters name into it. ONE NAME PER LINE!
Now it should have a file called staff.txt repeat what you did with administrators.txt. Add the person's name to it. ONE NAME PER LINE!
Now you can tell the person to come on again once you have saved all the files you have changed :D

Note this is only to make people ADMIN, if you want to make someone a moderator then i'll post here soon
