[Help] Error When Trying to Run Any 508

Hey. I can run any 317 server just fine, but when I moved up to the 500+ I get: "This Device is not ready." When I run any of the batch files/command script things.

And when I try to start the client I get the message saying:

"Error: SignLink:233 SignLink:372 Applet_Sub1:338 client:2196 | java.lang.Runtime Exception"

I've downloaded the cache, but I don't know whats wrong, and it doesnt help that I'm new to RuneScape Private Servers.

is your cache located in the right place?
and,have you installed jdk(java devolopment kit)?

I think my cache should be in the right place, but i'll check again, and try redownloading the jdk. Thanks :)

What cache? Where do get the cache from?

Signlink errors are usually related to cache placement or type (90 % of the time, that is). Take a peek in your SignLink.java, and make sure your cache folder is named properly, and is located in one of the designated areas as defined in there...Or change it, if you will :3

A Cache is a folder wich the source needs to run
It's ussaly located in C:\ and it's mostly posted whit the source ;)

Normally, it comes with the client.
Not the source.

But yes, its generally either called cache508, or rs2 on a 508.
its just called cache under your client folders for 317.
