    you cant change the npc id because the quest run at this an external funktion = piramid02 cant find the funktion

    Change the monster id to the right one for your server, use a hexeditor, not the qsd parser.

    i have change with the good mob, but he don't spawn,
    after i have change map id, x , y
    i change Opcode too?

    Are you sure you'r using the right monster id? Try spawn it manually in-game to be sure..

    yes i use the good mob ID, i have this now but monster don't spawn

    Edit the original file, dont mess with Spawn Map Pos etc....

    Only change the Monster ID.

    its realy easy open the QP103.qsd with an hexeditor search for the hex "FD:00:00:00" and change the FD to FB done "zombie ghost" will spawn now

    Where did you get that program you are using to see what is inside of the qsd file?

    Master its a QSD Parser for see QSD files, search on google or Osrose forum

    I'm having a problem:

    The mob does spawn, Only it will not give away the quest item?
    Any clues in what I've done wrong?

    Sorry to open back up an old thread but i need help

    okay i am having some probs with this quest as well
    i have looked at all my data and everything is right

    but i look at my ifo 3ddata/maps/junon/jdo2/34_32.ifo
    and the quest trigger calls to 122-03, now should this actually call to 122-04 or 122-02

    confused on why the zombie will not spawn
    i have tried to edit the quest trigger in my ifo and i got nothing out of it

    If you changed teh monster id on the QSD that spawns it then you also need to change the monster id in the QSD that detects the kills. this is usually listed in LIST_NPC.QSD


    The problem is that in my client (osprose pre-evo) it doesn't line up properly

    Look at the entry for Quest trigger 122-04.
    It spawns 1 Zombie (monster id 253) There is nothing in LIST_NPC.STB at row 253. The actual Zombie monster is at line 231. My fault probably. I've been moving stuff around in my server/client so i need to fix this.

    Interestingly the quest trigger 230_mon is found in QSD file QN-231.QSD (which strangely corresponds to the monster id of the Zombie. Go figure.

    Anyway the quest reward is pretty simple and only contains 1 entry

    I haven't quite figured out precisely what opcode 16777245 does yet so i haven't added the information readout to that line. Still working on decoding the quests.

    So here is the way it works
    If you have the quest and go to the right location, the zombie spawns. Monster id 231 (except my quest trigger presently makes a 253 )
    When you kill monster 231 (any time you kill it) it runs quest trigger 230-mon in QN-231.QSD
    The quest trigger then checks if you have the quest and if you do it will give you the reward and update your quest variables. Plus is does something else that i haven't quite figured out yet

    1d = 29 in decimal and we only have 28 Quest actions coded in osprose
    I never actually saw a 29 before. It kind of looks like a text string. need to check this out
