    getting client and server to match (arcturus)

    Hello,
    I have a slightly modified 131 irose client with arcturus, and I am trying to make sure that the files all match. When I extract the 3ddata folder into the c:/SHO/srvdata/3DDATA folder I get a couple of c++ debug errors saying that assertion failed. Exactly what files are needed in the 3DDATA folder of the server? I would like to eventually add Oro, and some of the other files that I have created as well as some from the jRoseGI client that I have extracted, and if I can't even get the files to match from an almost clean version of iRose 131 client, then I am not sure how to start. All of my errors are when I start the game server. So my questions are;

    1) what files do I need to extract to my srvdata folder (tried all and it gets errors)

    2) how would I start to add Oro (have done this with osIrose with limited success)

    3) is there a adminCP that will run with mssql 2005 express and appserv on windows vista (I can get server info, but cannot post information to the database)

    Thanks for the help
    JD

    If you have plenty hdd space, just dump the whole client to srvDATA. If you wan't to keep it clean and neat (which I prefer) or have less space then use PE Explorer to look inside the .dll file, there a list of folder (look at string tab).

    So, I just need to open the three dll's SHO_GS.DLL SHO_LS.DLL SHO_WS.DLL, and try to figure out another program :) I am looking at the dll's now, and have found that there is even more to learn. I have not yet found a string tab, or even any tabs as of yet. I am looking at the manual, but I want to be sure as I search through the dll's that I am searching at least the correct ones.

    I do appreciate the help. Is it something that I need to wory about when I see the c++ while loading the gameserver, or can the safely be ignored.

    Ok, I hope all I needed was the files I listed, and if that is the case, all I need in my servdata\3DDATA folder, is the stb files, and the npc chr file. I did a search in the decompiled dll under the string tab, and the only files I could find reference to was the stb files, and the one chr file. Is it possible that this serever runs from just these few files?

    Again, thanks

    No i don't see how.
    It has to at least have AIP and QSD along with the STB
    Not sure about others such as IFO but I strongly suspect it will need those too.
