Getting your own item list
Okay i have seen several people ask for item lists for their server
So i decided to write a small tutorial on finding all items on your server
Things you will need
Microsoft Excel
VFS Editor - LINK
PY's STB/STL editor - LINK
First things first make sure you have three things that we will be using.
Put the VFS Editor in your clients root folder (EX. C:\RoseOnline)
Start the VFS Editor and extract all your client data to a specified folder
Open Excel and make a new spreadsheet
The reason i say to use PY's Editor is because it is excel based and will allow you to copy and past all columns and rows to your Spreadsheet
The Item Type id's are as follows
1 - mask and face items
2 - head and hat items
3 - chest and body items
4 - glove and hand items
5 - boot and foot items
6 - wing and back items
7 - ring, necklace, and earring items
8 - weapon items
9 - shield and off-hand items
10 - skillbooks and usable items
11 - gems and socket items
12 - etc and material items
14 - cart and pat items
all these item id's are used when spawning items in your avatars inventory
Now to actually get the item list built
Open up PY's Editor and click on the STL reader sheet at the bottom then we are going to load your first STL file,
we will be using the STL's as a reference because they dont have as much data in them as the STB,
this is good because all we want is the item numbers and names
The first file we will load is LIST_FACEITEM_S.STL, after it loads you should see five columns of data
we will only be using the last three columns to build our item list
click on cell c2 and while holding shift and using the arrow keys move over to cell e2
after that hold shift again and use the down arrow key to make your selection expand to the bottom line of data
After you have all the necessary data selected press ctrl+c to copy it
bring up the spreadsheet we had you create at the beginning and simply paste all the data in starting at cell b1
reason i have had you start at b1 and not a1 is because column a is going to represent our item type id
now fill in column a will the item type id of 1 all the way to the bottom of the pasted data
you will repeat this process several more times until you have all the items in your new spreadsheet
the STL files you will need to open are as follows
item type | stl file
1 - LIST_FACEITEM_S.STL
2 - LIST_CAP_S.STL
3 - LIST_BODY_S.STL
4 - LIST_ARM_S.STL
5 - LIST_FOOT_S.STL
6 - LIST_BACK_S.STL
7 - LIST_JEWEL_S.STL
8 - LIST_WEAPON_S.STL
9 - LIST_SUBWPN_S.STL
10 - LIST_USEITEM_S.STL
11 - LIST_JEMITEM_S.STL
12 - LIST_NATURAL_S.STL
14 - LIST_PAT_S.STL
This pretty much concludes my guide to making your very own item list
Now that i have done this hopefully no one will ask for items lists anymore and simply get ignored
lol

Re: Getting your own item list
Actually Buzbee your approach could end up with a very misleading item list that also will not include any "blue" items
The STLs do not line up exactly with the STBs unfortunately. Sometimes the entry number in the STL is not the same as the STB line that calls it.
It is the STB that defines the item you get when you use the /item command.
You will probably find weird stuff like "Sparkly Purple Vest of Witch" that doesn't actually exist in the game.
You are much better off to load the STB then copy the entire name column into your lookup spreadsheet
if your STB version doesn't have English names, just load the corresponding STL then open the control panel and click 'import names'
