[Guide] Hamachi Free - PUBLIC RoseOnline Server!

Who wants to play a server that uses hamachi? It's a real annoyance. Here is a guide that will get you OUT of using that program. If you have any problems, post here and I'll help you out.

What you need:

• A router
• An internet connection
• A previously SET UP roseonline server
• And a brain

Getting to the router page.

Go to Start > Run > and type "cmd" without the quotes.
Then type "ipconfig" in the cmd window without the quotes.
Look for a number with 192.168.XXX.XX <-- The x's are random numbers
Take that number and put it into your address bar, a login box should appear, put "admin" as the username no quotes. Put "admin" as the password no quotes.
This part really depends on what router you are using.
Try to find somthing that says "Port forward" or somthing around that.
If you cannot find that go PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall and look up your router.

Forwarding the ports.

Now, you must forward these following ports:

• 29000 - TCP
• 29100 - TCP
• 29200 - TCP
• 80 - TCP + UDP <-- For the website
• 433 - TCP + UDP <-- For the website

Make sure you check the box that says Enable or it will not work!!
Once you have forwarded these ports, turn off the server.
Restart it.
Your new IP to access the server is located at: http://whatismyip.org

IMO to many "kids" (DO not flame me !) trying to make a rose server with-in there parents home network.
explaination: If you owned your own connection you would not need Hamachi, hamachi lets you "tunnel" out of a network with out having to port-forward through router firewalls. Actually I use it at my work office to get files to and from my production pc's something "IT" will not allow or do.

All of the already explained "How-To's" are very well written, BUT you must read them completely, and have all files downloaded and ready to install, before you attempt to set it all up, I have done it with out even once having to ask "what is wrong......."

im really confused with can you please guide me?|??

all i changed was the server IP that was in whatismyip.org
i havent changed the lanip... (right now it was set to my lanip the 192.0.0.0)
and the subnet mask is the one i've got with in cmd when typed ipconfig

is that right?

Its not even about kids trying to connect through their parents networks.. Its the fact that they don't know how to log into their routers to forward ports. They could do it very easy if they try but they're too lazy to do it so what happens? they use Hamachi.

Are you serious? You don't need a router to access the internet. You need a router to split an internet connection. I think Matt needs to add to the guide the fact, If you don't have a router you don't need to forward ports, just need to make sure your firewall is allowing access.

Matt. Add the website Open Port Check Tool good to see if your ports are forwarded.

What If the IP page not open ?? what i can do ?

and when i try With the > /index.html <

i get Erorr Page :

hmmp it depend on your internet service if you access a service with a STATIC IP it depends on your internet provider... ^_^

hey lol i got out of hamachi and its definitely less lag, Iralugain helped me for this so I'm thanking him a million times :D

i used no-ip for it, and pls remember to change xampp to port 8245 (must be the same as no-ip)

u can find it in xampp/apache/conf and its called httpd.conf

just find this line called Listen: 80 and change it to Listen: 8245
