help needed with server maint problem
im still having the same problem, people can connect to my server, but i cant from this computer - ive even tried allowing all incoming and outgoing to my internal computer ip on my routers firewall (192.168.1.100 - i cant allow incoming as 'Any') which i presume pretty much turns the firewall off yet i still get the same 'Server is under maintanance' error when trying to log in - im not stupid this has never caused me any problems pre-changing to this new router.
Ive tried this on two different server releases - the original svn and drauks server release and i get the same error on both.
Ive even tried changing the bat to 192.168.1.100 which lets me log in but then gives me the error when selecting the server rather than earlier.
Help would be really appreciated, ive really had enough of this stupid router...

Edit: Dunno if it helps the router is a Netgear DG834PN

Try turning the dmz host on, from your computers lan I.P address, if that doesnt fix it, change the bat to 127.0.0.1 and see if that works.

there is no dmz settings on the router, and if i use 127.0.0.1 i get through the login but can get no further than server select which gives the same message. the weird thing is the router i had before never gave me any problems with this (plenty of other problems though linksys overheat nonstop...), and i never touched dmz settings on that one, only forwarded the ports to my internal ip
thanks

edit: found the dmz setting, its well hidden xD ill give that a try
edit2: thanks very much, bagofchaos, that has sorted my problem =D

try putting "block annonymous request" off, the reason you cant get past the channel select screen is because your channel ip's are still your public ones...
maybe you should try and run your server on one account ( on you computer ) and the client on the other account, the same way you can dual box the clients, but then client <-> server
edit: oops, to late ^^
