[Help] NPC Spawn

Ok i'm using Arcurtecs or however the hell they spelled it. I have gotten my npc's fully created, the aip done, and i get to the point where i have to spawn the npcs, i have tried adding them to many different IFO files... yet they don't show up, i've added the ifo's to both client and server and even the icon's show up on the minimap but they're not there... at one point i had 2 of them spawn and the other two didn't i'm confused as to how... but yeah its really odd and if anyone can shoot me some advice i would appreciate it.

If you adding new NPC, you have to create a new reference in LIST_NPC.STB and LIST_NPC.CHR. If you using existing NPC then checking your IFO (part of region on the map e.g 32_33, 32_34 etc. ) file again.

If you're just trying to spawn an original NPC that isn't already spawning then you don't have to worry about creating new entries in the CHR.

You have to get the z coordinate right too, I guess. It's happened to me, too. What map are you trying to spawn it on?

i have made the entry in LIST_NPC.chr i put in the npc number 18*** hit jump to, typed in the box 1015 and then hit copy... not sure why it isn't working. I'm trying to put it in Junon town , which i guess is Maps > JPT01 > and i've tried 30_30 , 34_32 , 33_32

Okay, then copy the mobs position and everything else along with it and just change the coordinates that you want your new mobs to be at.

its an npc, i'm adding a buff bot, i want them right behind the mayor. the coords are right the npcs just aren't showing up. they don't spawn at all i don't know why. http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/4367/73327833.png if you wanna see coords

is the npc added to your client also if not it wont show need to be added to server and client as updates

Maybe the NPC id you was using is not available. Try trial and error, use the existing NPC first. See if its spawn at the same place.
