Hello Boys And Girls ,

This is my first or probably the 2nd thread i have ever made in this website , as it is my first thread i wanted it to be something special that i provided to the rose community.

Some of you may have this but am gonna provide u with 2 things

1. The v1.1 map editor with the estb and source

2. The 7evenskies map editor without the estb unless u get it to work with it.

As For that , lets all revive the rose community hopefully get it back to the road where every one shares what they have.

And as how to make it work don't ask me hell if you had a brain and looked at the dlls you would know instantly but just as a small tip XNA .

I already have a couple of different map editors that don't quite work. Probably the same ones but whatever....
One of these days I will have to get in there and fix them so that they work properly.

I tried both editors and they just crash instantly. Are there any libraries or programs that need to be installed to run the map editor(s)?

Both of my friend have the same problem as you, even if they set it up correctly.

You need to have XNA 3.1 installed, install XNA Game Studio 3.1 and XNA Game Studio 4.0 Refresh in case i'm wrong

Then, you only need to put all the file inside your extracted VFS like this:

--ExtractedVFS
\-- 3DDATA
\-- MapEditor
\-- Content

etc etc

Next, take the ESTB folder and put it on 3DDATA folder.

This is the only things you need.

If someone can figure why so munch people crash when using the Map Editor, it would be cool.

I can't fix a problem that i doesn't have, mine as always worked and i do nothing more than others people.

This is a fantastic Map Editor, since the source are here, we should really spend time to work on it, this is the best map editor for ROSE that i have ever seen (GJ Xadet).

And the source compile fine too.
