My login and char server keep getting this error after about 10mins or a hour of being on [FATAL ERROR] Could not execute query: MySQL server has gone away

I'm still stuck at the "downloading avitar list" screen and the maintenance message. Can someone help me further?

I got all the settings right in the loginserver.conf, charserver.conf and worldserver.conf

I need it working before the 20th...

New Updates!

- New Revision added! Revision 80.
- Guide Rewritten!
- MySQL version updated, guide updated and moved

- Navicat password part rewrote (no more blank password).

Just updated to Revision 80 :)

But I still get the Maintenance message when I try to connect to the world:




When I look in the server map I see the following files:




Again no conf.ini file....

The charserver.conf, loginserver.conf and worldserver.conf all point to the right database with the right username and password, also do they point to the right IP adress. Also the right ports on the router are open.

What can I do to Finally get it working?

im having same problem. i can only get it working by using hamachi. but thats gay.

im getting this error message in the world server: [warning]player not found

i get every time i try to connect to the server.

in the conf files, put your wan server ip in. i think this might fix it

yea, it was my router being a bitch all fixed now. plan on going public with the server by the end of the week.

Might try that hamachi then and hope it'll work, cause I don't know what else to do.
The servers run without errors or warnings and still I get that maintenance message, I'll try it tonight and will let you know.
