TRose errors are ALWAYS due to an invalid packet coming from the server.
By invalid i mean one that the client is not equipped to handle.
This is almost always because your client side STBs do not match your server side STBs (or CSVs or SQL depending on your server version)
Like lmame said, this issue has been addressed hundreds of times. It is the most common error that is ever reported and it's ridiculously easy to fix if you just use SEARCH

If your monsters have the wrong HP it is because your client STBs don't match your server data (STB, CSV or SQL depending on your server type)
Specifically LIST_NPC.STB. that's where teh monsters health is defined.
Make sure that whatever data your server uses matches your clients LIST_NPC.STB exactly and this problem will go away.
As for your own HP, that's just a glitchy rose client. there's not a lot we can do about that. I had the same problem in the real NA Rose server yesterday when I went there for a bit of fun

Edit: nvm didnt fix it, i know its something to do with that though.
edit1: figured it out, the query which is executed within world.exe is bugged or outdated, i cannot fix this as it is not a .bat, so we would need a 1337 hex editor :P

As you said "Friends" hope u are not trying to make a full fledged private server......(in which case, try following the guide properly, especially the "wanip" and "port forwarding" parts).
So, if you want a dozen of your friends to connect to your server "Online".....try using Hamachi.
Download the latest version from here --->> Hamachi
Make our own network and give the network name and password to your friends (they should be using hamachi too).
Now, use the Hamachi IP (5.xx.xx.xxx) as your wan IP wherever mentioned in the guide. i guess dat's it!

No, you'll still need an internet connection so that the servers can connect to MySQL. If you want to make it a sandbox and have it single player only, open the CONF files and change the serverip to 127.0.0.1 as well as the lanip and the lansubmask should be your lansubmask.
If you're getting server busy messages over and over try switching in your char,login, and worldserver . conf files your serverip with your lanip and vice versa.
I found that too, problem was the Rose Launcher I got, I unzipped in a different folder than my Rose Online Evolution folder and just simply added the Rose launcher into the Rose Online Evolution folder. I forgot to grab 2 other files you get with the supplied Rose Launcher and replace the existing that came with the public server version. I could only go as far as creating a character... then when i clicked play... it booted me. That could be what's happening....... I hope this is understandable.... and I hope it helps.
