Need help with making a patchlist

Hey ragezone,

Im wondering how to set up my patchlist properly, normally it works fine but i think i kinda forgot how to, what i did in patchlist.txt was :

1 VFS 3DDATA\STB\LIST_WEAPON.STB
2 VFS 3DDATA\STB\LIST_WEAPON_S.STL
(If i mistyped at the LISTS dont worry, im more carefull @ the patchlist, just to give you an idea)

Then, i made a .RAR file called 3DDATA, i putted a folder called STB in it and in there i just did the files i wanted to update, so the LIST_weapon's.

Now it says it cannot find/add these files, whats wrong?

2 VFS 3DDATA\STB\LIST_WEAPON_S.STL*
3 VFS Patch1.rar

Where Patch1.rar contains the folder path 3DDATA\STB\ with LIST_WEAPON.STB and LIST_WEAPON_S.STL inside of it. The * denotes deletion of a file within the archive.

ADDED:

Okay, what i did this time was, making a map called 'Patch1.rar' & i added a folder called '3DDATA' in it. In the folder '3DDATA' i made a folder called 'STB. i just putted these two Lists in 'STB', but what it says when i open the launcher is: Cannt find Patch1.rar and i really putted that in my Folder called 'patch' with the 'patchlist.txt' & the Patch1.rar..

Any solutions left? =3

Did you properly define your patch location in your neoncube.ini? If not, it doesn't matter how many patches you put in, it won't be able to find them. Should be something like;

patchlist: whatever.com/patch/patchlist.txt
patch: whatever.com/patch/

Yea its /patch/patchlist.txt ( It works otherwise it wouldnt bed able to find the patchlist )

and /patch

That always worked.


Now it does not >.<
