Oh dear
I think you may be moving a bit too fast if you are really that new to modding a rose client or server.
It is fairly straight forward to add or modify items but it does require a pretty thorough familiarity with the files and files types found in the rose client.
All the tools you need are here.http://forum.dev-osrose.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1026
First you need a VFS editor (I like VFSNextGen) to extract the files (STB, STL, ZMS, DDS and ZSC)
The STB is a kind of database structure containing all the stats of any given item
The STL contains the Name and Description of the items. It is referenced by the STB
The ZMS is a 3D mesh file that defines the shape of your objects.
The DDS (direct draw surface) is the texture or skin that goes on top of your ZMS. Hint: Many items share the same mesh but have different textures.
The ZSC is a file that links all the ZMS, DDS and STBs together. It tells the cllient graphics engine which textures to put onto which mesh and which STB entry to associate it with.
You will also need a good art program to edit the textures. Most people use photoshop.
If you want to actually make new meshes, you will need to use a 3D modeller program such as 3DS Max (which is damn expensive). You might also be able to do it with Blender (which is free. Just google it)
Just download the tools and play with the files till you are familiar enough with how they all work and mesh together. Pretty soon you will be making your own items
Oh and this has nothing to do with Navicat or your database.
You probably do need to get very familiar with that as well though.
Lmao.. made me laugh a little bit..
