That portal seems to have issues with positioning. Lot's of people have had this same problem.

the solution is to change the value of the range at which the gate hacking code kicks in.

There have been a couple of recent threads on this so please try searching for the answer in these forums. If you can't find it then I will happily re-post the solution once i have access to my server code, probably tomorrow.
