    Re: [REQUEST]Port Forwarding Guide

All you need to do is forward the ports 80, 29000, 29100 and 29200 to the computer that contains your game server and CMS
Don't worry about static IPs and stuff like that. it isn't necessary to set that sort of thing at this point.

Your problem with the maintenance message is almost certainly that you don't have your .conf files set up properly. The servers are not talking to each other correctly.
Another possibility is that your account has been created with an access level that is lower than the one defined in worldserver.conf.

I wish people would stop saying that this problem is due to port forwarding. It drives me nuts.
It has NOTHING to do with port forwarding.
For one thing, if you are entering your server through localhost then the port forwards are never triggered anyway.
Port forwarding is ONLY for people connecting to your server from the internet.

What I want to say about his.
Is that was my problem 2 I can't play on my own Internet IP.
Only on Localhost so I could never play with anybody. xD
Than I got a Dedicated Server problem solved. lol
Anywayz some routers block play on your own Internet IP.

You need to put your LAN ip there. How to find your LAN ip (click here)

    Try also enable NAT loopback.

NAT Loopback allows LAN devices to reach other LAN devices via the router's WAN IP address and a properly configured port forward. If unchecked, LAN devices can only contact other LAN devices via their local IP addresses.

    Re: [REQUEST]Port Forwarding Guide

    Install loopback connection

Control Panel > Add hardware > Mark "Yes, i have already..." > Go to bot chose "Add new hardware device" then click Next > Mark "Install the hardware that..." > Chose "Network Adapters" > Microsoft Loopback Adapters.
After that set the LAN IP for Loopback.

Get to your site by WAN IP ( http://whatismyip.org ), If it same as localhost, it works!

    Good luck

Didn't i post a link that explains how to port forward earlier in this thread?

Could have sworn that I did

There are so many tutorials on the internet that you can find in 2 seconds flat with a quick google search, it would be a complete waste of time to write another one here.
